Meet Dr. Rao
Dr. Kristina Rao is originally from Florida and has taken the long way around to get into the world of veterinary medicine (ask her and maybe she’ll tell you some stories). Her childhood was spent between 4H programs, hanging out on her grandparents’ beef cattle farm, riding horses, and listening to medical stories from her human physician father. She is a 2022 graduate from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where she completed her final clinical year at The Ohio State University. Her favorite animals to work on are goats and dogs. She has particular interests in cardiology, clinical pathology, animal behavior, shelter medicine, and nutrition. During her free time, you can find her hiking with her two dogs (Lena and Malcolm), on a boat, riding horses, or fixing random things.
