Meet Alexa
Alexa is originally from Akron, Ohio and recently moved to Morganton, GA with her significant other Jake, their two cats Fig & Tater and their dog Finney, to be closer to family.
Alexa went to college in Ohio and graduated with an associate’s degree in veterinary technology. She went on to work in the veterinary field for a couple years but stepped away for personal reasons.
Upon moving to Georgia, Alexa came across Big Bear Veterinary Clinic and noticed we were hiring for veterinary assistants. Wanting to get back into the field, Alexa applied and came to interview at our practice. The rest was history.
Despite the long commute from Morganton, Alexa comes to work every day committed to providing excellent patient care and going above and beyond to help the pets in our community. Not only has Alexa found her passion for the field again, but she is thriving at our practice and has become a true asset to Big Bear Vet.
When Alexa is not hard at work, she spends her time hanging out with her fur babies at home or kayaking with Jake. Alexa is truly enjoying her new home in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
